In view of the high incidence of faults in the walking part of urban rail vehicles, the monitoring technology and diagnostic equipment and devices of the walking part of urban rail vehicles in China are not very complete, in general, the limitation and singularity are obvious. This paper adopts laser displacement measurement technology, high-precision image measurement technology, machine vision image analysis technology, intelligent robot technology, eddy current and ultrasonic non-destructive testing technology, etc., to construct a set of complete intelligent detection system for the walking part of urban rail vehicles. On the basis of this system, the preliminary study of the condition repair mode of the walking part is realized by using the intelligent diagnosis expert system by integrating the multi-source inspection data. Finally, the research results of the condition repair of the wheel pair health management are verified through the actual use of urban rail vehicles, with good benefits for society and economy.
