Traction module (1) of a high-speed train, in particular for passenger transportation, contains body (2) with roof (2a) and floor (2b), including driver’s cab (4) located at front end (2c), as well as technical department (18) containing low voltage zone (6), traction zone (17), technical zone (29) and at least two trolleys (41) located under floor (2b) of body (2). Low voltage zone (6), traction zone (17) and technical zone (29) of technical department (18) are located sequentially, one after the other, along longitudinal axis (X1) of traction module (1). Traction module contains main transformer (38) located under body (2) between trolleys (41). Traction zone (17) includes rheostatic brake (22) located on the roof, and low voltage zone (6) includes air conditioning unit (8) located on the roof for cooling driver’s cab (4).EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the length of a traction module.10 cl, 2 dwg
