A posture control device (1) includes a notification event detecting section (13) configured to detect the notification event having occurred and a driving control section (15) that controls a driving section (24) so that in a case where the notification event detecting section (13) has detected an occurrence of the notification event, a robot (100) takes on a notification event posture.
