본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 EMB(electro mechanical brake)를 이용한 중립 주차된 차량의 충돌 방지 장치는 차량 외부의 구조물과의 거리를 감지하는 거리 감지부, 차량에 제동력을 발생시키는 EMB 제동장치, 및 상기 거리 감지부에서 감지된 감지거리에 기초하여 상기 EMB 제동장치를 적어도 두가지 충돌방지 모드로 작동시키는 충돌방지 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
An anti-collision device for a vehicle utilizes an electromechanical brake (EMB). The anti-collision device is operable when the vehicle is parked in neutral, and may include a distance detection device for detecting a distance from a structure outside the vehicle, an EMB braking device for generating braking force in the vehicle, and an anti-collision control device for operating the EMB braking device in one of at least two anti-collision modes based on the distance detected by the distance detection device.
