An operating system (10) comprises: a connection line (13); a winding device (14) to apply tension to the connection line (13); a feeding amount detection unit (34) to detect a feeding amount of the connection line (13); a direction detection unit (35) to detect a direction of a force applied to a detected unit (13a) of the connection line (13); and a position determination unit (52) to determine a position of an unmanned aerial vehicle (20). The position determination unit (52) determines a distance from a predetermined reference position to the unmanned aerial vehicle (20) based on a detection result of the feeding amount detection unit (34), and determines an orientation of the unmanned aerial vehicle (20) based on the detected unit (13a) based on a detection result of the direction detection unit (35).

    운용 시스템(10)은, 접속선(13)과, 접속선(13)에 장력을 작용시키는 권취 장치(14)와, 접속선(13)의 조출량을 검출하는 조출량 검출부(34)와, 접속선(13)의 피검출부(13a)에 작용하는 힘의 방향을 검출하는 방향 검출부(35)와, 무인항공기(20)의 위치를 판정하는 위치 판정부(52)를 구비하고, 위치 판정부(52)는, 조출량 검출부(34)의 검출 결과에 기초하여 미리 정해진 기준 위치로부터 무인항공기(20)까지의 거리를 판정하고, 방향 검출부(35)의 검출 결과에 기초하여 피검출부(13a)를 기준으로 한 무인항공기(20)의 방위를 판정한다.
