A retractable Magnus rotor sail is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a retractable Magnus rotor sail comprises: a rotor base unit provided on the deck of a ship; and a retractable rotor body unit rotatably provided on an upper part of the rotor base unit and whose height can be adjusted by storing at least a portion of the retractable rotor body unit.
