The present invention relates to a gantry robot system installed in a distribution warehouse and transporting stacked boxes, comprising: at least one gantry unit installed on top of a box located in a distribution warehouse; a gripper that is installed in the gantry unit and picks up and releases or lifts a box or a stack of boxes located in the distribution warehouse; and a control unit for controlling operation of the gantry unit and the gripper. An objective of the present invention is to provide the logistics automation gantry robot system that can be applied to regular loads having a constant shape and irregular loads having an irregular shape.
