The present invention relates to a control method of a power converter for a fuel cell electric vehicle. An objective of the present invention is to improve efficiency of a fuel cell electric vehicle by compensating for the problem of low efficiency of a fuel cell at low loads. In the control method of a power converter provided in the fuel cell electric vehicle, the power converter includes: a fuel cell DC-DC converter (FDC, 30) provided between a fuel cell stack (20) and an inverter (60); and a bidirectional DC-DC converter (BHDC, 50) provided between a battery (40) and the inverter (60). The fuel cell DC-DC converter (FDC, 30) and the bidirectional DC-DC converter (BHDC, 50) are connected in parallel to be operated in coordination according to the demand power.

    본 발명은 연료전지 전기차의 전력변환기 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 낮은 부하에서 연료전지의 효율이 낮은 문제점을 보완하여 연료전지 전기차의 효율을 향상시키는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은, 연료전지 전기차에 구비되는 전력변환기의 제어방법에 있어서, 상기 전력변환기는, 연료전지 스택(20)과 인버터(60) 사이에 구비되는 연료전지 DC-DC 컨버터(FDC, 30)와, 배터리(40)와 인터버(60) 사이에 구비되는 양방향 DC-DC 컨버터(BHDC, 50)를 포함하여 구성되고, 상기 연료전지 DC-DC 컨버터(FDC, 30)와 양방향 DC-DC 컨버터(BHDC, 50)를 병렬로 연결하여, 수요전력에 따라 상기 연료전지 DC-DC 컨버터(FDC, 30)와 양방향 DC-DC 컨버터(BHDC, 50)를 연계하여 운용하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
