In accordance with the present invention, a method of calculating a residual travel distance of an electric vehicle includes: a driver information acquisition step of collecting driver information and driving patterns; a vehicle data storage step; a basic residual travel distance calculation step of calculating a basic residual travel distance of a vehicle by using the driver information and the vehicle data; a travel information acquisition step of collecting road information and environment information; a correction step of applying the information acquired in the travel information acquisition step to the basic residual travel distance calculation step by using a weighted value and an algorithm; a final residual travel distance calculation step of calculating a final residual travel distance of the vehicle by using the correction step and the basic residual travel distance calculation step; an alarm step of alarming the driver stage by stage in accordance with the residual travel distance; and a learning and information provision step of enabling safe driving by providing suitable information to the driver.

    본 발명에 전기자동차의 잔여 주행거리 산출방법은 운전자 정보 및 운전 패턴을 수집하는 운전자 정보 입수단계, 차량 데이터 저장단계, 상기 운전자 정보 및 상기 차량 데이터를 이용하여 차량의 기본 잔여 주행거리를 산출하는 기본 잔여 주행거리 산출단계, 도로 정보 및 환경 정보를 수집하는 운행 정보 입수단계, 상기 운행 정보 입수단계에서 입수한 정보를 가중치 및 알고리즘을 이용하여 기본 잔여 주행거리 산출단계에 적용하도록 하는 보정단계, 상기 보정단계와 상기 기본 잔여 주행거리 산출단계를 이용하여 차량의 최종 잔여 주행거리를 산출하는 최종 잔여 주행거리 산출단계, 잔여 주행거리에 따라 운전자에게 단계별 알람 하는 알람단계 및 상기 정보를 수집, 분석 및 학습하여 운전자에게 적합한 운전 패턴 정보를 제공하는 학습 및 정보 제공단계를 포함한다.
