Disclosed is a regenerative braking control apparatus of an electric vehicle, comprising: a road surface status providing means for providing information on a road surface status in the front of the vehicle; a vehicle speed providing means for providing the information on a vehicle speed of the vehicle; and a controller receiving the information on the road surface status in the front of the vehicle from the road surface status providing means and receiving the information on the vehicle speed of the vehicle from the vehicle speed providing means, and adjusting a regenerative braking setting of the vehicle based on the vehicle speed when the road surface status is a preset low friction status. An objective of the present invention is to provide the regenerative braking control apparatus of the electric vehicle, capable of appropriately controlling a regenerative braking magnitude, and a method thereof.

    차량 전방의 노면 상태에 대한 정보를 제공하는 노면 상태 제공 수단; 상기 차량의 차속에 대한 정보를 제공하는 차속 제공 수단; 상기 노면 상태 제공 수단으로부터 상기 차량의 전방의 노면 상태 정보를 입력 받고 상기 차속 제공 수단으로부터 상기 차량의 차속 정보를 입력 받으며, 상기 노면 상태가 사전 설정된 저마찰 상태인 경우 상기 차속에 기반하여 상기 차량의 회생 제동 설정을 조정하는 컨트롤러를 포함하는 전동 차량의 회생 제동 제어 장치가 개시된다.
