The present invention relates to an engine idle control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle. Specifically, the present invention relates to the engine idle control apparatus for the hybrid vehicle capable of improving speed control performance and efficiency during engine idle control. The engine idle control apparatus for the hybrid vehicle of the present invention comprises: an engine target speed determining unit; an engine target torque determination unit; a speed control unit; a power distribution unit; and a final engine torque determination unit.
