The present invention relates to a system for an independently driven railway vehicle, a railway vehicle having the same, and a method for controlling a system for an independently driven railway vehicle. In order to solve disadvantages of an independently driven railway vehicle that a biasing phenomenon occurs due to the lack of restoring force during straight traveling, a lateral pressure is reduced by appropriately controlling the torque and speed with respect to a plurality of motors in accordance with characteristics of a rail. Also, wheel wear and noise can be reduced, and a lateral pressure and wear can be effectively reduced by variably applying a control method of a pair of motors of a front side and a pair of motors of a rear side in accordance with a traveling speed and a traveling curve radius of a railway vehicle. To this end, the system for an independently driven railway vehicle comprises: a plurality of independently driven wheels; a plurality of motors separately provided in the independently driven wheels; and a controller for performing speed control or torque control of the independently driven wheels by separately driving the motors in accordance with curve radius information.

    본 발명은 직선 주행 시 복원력 부족으로 편기현상이 발생하는 독립구동 방식 철도차량의 단점을 개선하기 위하여, 복수의 모터에 대한 토크와 속도를 레일의 특성에 따라 적절하게 제어하여 횡압을 줄이고, 휠 마모와 소음을 감소시킬 수 있으며, 특히, 철도차량의 주행속도와 주행하는 곡선반경에 따라 전방측 한 쌍의 모터와 후방측 한 쌍의 모터의 제어 방식을 가변적으로 적용함에 따라 횡압과 마모를 효과적으로 줄일 수 있는 독립구동식 철도차량용 시스템 및 이를 구비한 철도차량, 독립구동식 철도차량용 시스템의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위한 본 발명의 독립구동식 철도차량용 시스템은, 복수의 독립구동 휠, 상기 복수의 독립구동 휠에 각각 구비된 복수의 모터 및 곡선반경 정보에 따라 상기 복수의 모터를 각각 구동시킴에 따라 상기 독립구동 휠의 속도제어 또는 토크제어를 수행하는 제어기를 포함하여 구성된다.
