The present invention relates to an autonomous vehicle and a U-turn path generation method of the same. The present invention computes a behavior characteristic of the vehicle during driving of a U-turn section when recognizing the U-turn section of a front side of a vehicle based on a driving path mapped in precise map information stored in a memory, and generates a U-turn path by considering the behavior characteristic of the vehicle.

    본 발명은 자율주행차량 및 그의 유턴 경로 생성 방법에 관한 것으로, 메모리에 저장된 정밀 지도 정보에 매핑되는 주행 경로를 기반으로 차량 전방의 유턴 구간을 인식하면 상기 유턴 구간 주행 시 차량의 거동 특성을 산출하고, 상기 차량의 거동 특성을 고려하여 유턴 경로를 생성한다.
