Provided is a method of operating a marine plant capable of preventing unnecessary waste of energy, meet the planned demand, and generate power more efficiently. According to the present invention, the method of operating the marine plant comprises: a step of setting a standby time for power generation from when a liquid cargo is shipped until when a peak-load power generation is started, and calculating an expected axial pressure of boil off gas (BOG) accumulated in a cargo hold during the standby time for power generation; a step of adjusting the maximum shipment volume of liquid cargo in the cargo hold to be the capacity remaining after subtracting the capacity of the BOG corresponding to the expected axial pressure from the capacity of the cargo hold; a step of shipping the liquid cargo of the maximum shipment volume or less in the cargo hold; a step of accumulating the BOG in the cargo hold for the standby time for power generation; and a step of reducing the pressure of the cargo hold at the point of time when the standby time for power generation ends, and starting the peak-load power generation by using at least one of the BOG and the liquid cargo as fuel.
불필요한 에너지의 낭비를 막고 계획된 수요에 맞추어 보다 효율적으로 발전이 가능한 해양플랜트의 운용방법이 제공된다. 해양플랜트의 운용방법은, 액상화물 선적시부터 첨두부하발전 시작시까지 발전대기시간을 설정하고, 발전대기시간 동안 화물창에 축적되는 BOG(Boil off gas)의 예상축압을 산출하는 단계, 화물창의 용적에서 예상축압에 대응하는 BOG의 용적을 뺀 나머지 용적으로 화물창 내 액상화물의 최대선적량을 조정하는 단계, 액상화물을 최대선적량 이하로 화물창 내 선적하는 단계, 발전대기시간 동안 화물창 내 BOG를 축적하는 단계, 및 발전대기시간 종료 시점에 화물창을 감압하며 BOG 및 액상화물 중 적어도 어느 하나를 연료로하여 첨두부하발전을 시작하는 단계를 포함한다.
