The present invention relates to a battery state estimating apparatus to correctly estimate the state of a battery by using impedance. According to the present invention, the battery state estimating apparatus (100) comprises: an acquisition means (110) to acquire complex impedances of a battery at a plurality of different temperatures; a calculation means (120) to calculate a slope of a straight line interconnecting values at a predetermined first frequency of the acquired complex impedances as a slope of the complex impedance on a complex plane having axes of real and imaginary parts of complex impedances; a storage means (130) to store the slope of the complex impedance and a relation of a battery state related to the battery; and an estimation means (140) to estimate the state of the battery based on the calculated slope of the complex impedance and the stored relation.

(해결 수단) 전지 상태 추정 장치 (100) 는, 상이한 복수의 온도에서 전지의 복소 임피던스를 취득하는 취득 수단 (110) 과, 복소 임피던스의 실수 성분 및 허수 성분을 축으로 하는 복소 평면 상에서, 취득된 복수의 복소 임피던스의 제 1 소정 주파수에 있어서의 값을 서로 연결한 직선의 기울기를, 복소 임피던스의 기울기로서 산출하는 산출 수단 (120) 과, 복소 임피던스의 기울기와, 전지에 관련된 전지 상태의 관계를 미리 기억하는 기억 수단 (130) 과, 산출된 복소 임피던스의 기울기와, 기억된 관계에 기초하여, 전지의 상태를 추정하는 추정 수단 (140) 을 구비한다.
