The present invention relates to a parking support system of a vehicle and a control method thereof. The parking support system comprises: a sensor unit configured to generate an impulse signal and transceive the impulse signal; a plurality of antennas configured to receive the impulse signal from the sensor unit, respectively, to detect obstacle information around a vehicle; and an integrated sensor control unit configured to simultaneously and rapidly switch the plurality of antennas to simultaneously receive the obstacle information from the plurality of antennas and determine whether an obstacle exists. Therefore, the parking support system can detect obstacles in a broad range and save manufacturing costs by reducing the number of components.

    본 발명은 임펄스(Impulse) 신호를 생성하고, 임펄스 신호를 송수신하는 센서부; 센서부로부터 임펄스 신호를 각각 수신하여 차량 주변의 장애물 정보를 감지하는 복수의 안테나; 복수의 안테나를 동시에 고속 스위칭하여, 복수의 안테나로부터 장애물 정보를 각각 동시에 수신하고, 장애물 여부를 판단하는 통합 센서 제어부로 형성된 차량의 주차 지원 시스템 및 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
