The present invention relates to a brake device for a train, which is formed in a drive shaft of a train body of a train to brake the train. The brake device for a train comprises a rotor, an eddy current stator, and an external cover. The rotor is coupled to a portion of the drive shaft, and the eddy current stator is arranged to be spaced from the rotor at a predetermined distance. Moreover, the external cover covers the eddy current stator, and the eddy current stator induces an eddy current, or forms an induction motor with the rotor.

    철도차량의 차대의 구동축에 형성되어 상기 철도차량을 제동시키는 철도차량 제동장치에 있어서, 상기 철도차량 제동장치는 로터, 와전류 스테이터, 외측커버를 포함한다. 상기 로터는 상기 구동축의 일부와 결합하고, 상기 와전류 스테이터는 상기 로터와 소정의 간격을 두고 이격되어 배치되며, 상기 외측커버는 상기 와전류 스테이터를 커버하며, 상기 와전류 스테이터는 와전류를 유도하거나 상기 로터와 유도전동기를 형성한다.
