According to the present invention, a motor stall detection method of an electric parking brake comprises the following steps of: (a) monitoring voltage and a current applied to a motor from an operation starting point of the motor provided in an electric parking brake to perform parking coupling; (b) calculating and monitoring a total amount of energy inputted through the voltage and the current applied to the motor; and (c) detecting a stall state of the motor in accordance with a total amount of the inputted energy and the size of the current supplied to the motor.

    본 발명에 따른 전자식 주차 브레이크의 모터 스톨 검출방법은, 전자식 주차 브레이크에 구비되어 파킹 체결을 수행하는 모터의 구동 시작 시점으로부터 상기 모터에 투입되는 전압 및 전류를 모니터링하는 (a)단계, 상기 모터에 투입되는 전압 및 전류를 통해 투입된 에너지 총량을 산출 및 모니터링하는 (b)단계 및 투입된 에너지 총량과, 상기 모터에 공급되는 전류의 크기에 따라 상기 모터의 스톨 상태를 검출하는 (c)단계를 포함한다.
