The present invention relates to a device and a method for controlling a bidirectional converter for an eco-friendly vehicle. Especially, the present invention is to provide a device and a method for controlling a bidirectional converter for an eco-friendly vehicle, which operate a bidirectional converter in an optimum mode selected among a bypass mode, a wall mode, and a boost mode without operating the bidirectional converter in a bidirectional mode (or a wall-boost mode) in a load-free region or a low load region, thereby reducing power loss of the bidirectional converter and increasing system efficiency.

    본 발명은 친환경 차량용 양방향 컨버터 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 양방향 컨버터를 무부하 또는 저부하 영역에서 양방향 모드(혹은 벅-부스트 모드)로 동작시키지 않고 바이패스 모드, 벅 모드, 및 부스트 모드 중에서 선택된 최적 모드로 동작시켜 양방향 컨버터의 전력 손실을 저감하고 시스템 효율을 증대하는 친환경 차량용 양방향 컨버터 제어 장치 및 방법을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.
