The present invention relates to a power converter for charging a battery of an electric vehicle (EV). More specifically, the present invention relates to a power converter for charging a battery of an electric vehicle, which integrates an LLC series resonant converter to a conventional phase shift full converter. According to the present invention, the power converter has the effect of widening a zero voltage switching operation range, reducing the size of a filter inductor, and reducing voltage stress of a rectification diode. Also, the present invention has the effect of increasing battery charging efficiency since power conversion efficiency is increased.
본 발명은 전기자동차(Electric Vehicle, EV)의 배터리 충전을 위한 전력변환기에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 기존의 위상변이 풀 브리지 컨버터(Phase shift Full bridge Converter)에 LLC 직렬 공진 컨버터(LLC Series Resonant Converter)를 통합한 전기자동차 배터리 충전을 위한 전력변환기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면 영전압 스위칭 동작 범위가 넓어지고, 필터 인덕터(filter inductor)의 사이즈가 감소하며, 정류 다이오드의 전압 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다. 또한, 본 발명에 의하면 전력변환 효율이 높아지게 되어 배터리 충전 효율성도 높아지게 되는 효과가 있다.
