The present invention relates to an electric motor module-type brake system with compatibility. The electric motor module-type brake system with compatibility comprises: an electronic operating device (EOD) installed in a railroad car to output a brake signal when a brake command signal is input from a vehicle signal device; a brake operation unit (BOU) outputting a pneumatic signal so that the air pressure for braking the railroad car is controlled when the brake signal is input from the EOD; and a module-type braking device braking in an electronic motor manner by converting the input pneumatic signal of the brake operation unit into the electric brake signal. According to the present invention, the electric motor module-type brake system with compatibility can be compatible with a conventional pneumatic braking system, reduce the braking distance by shortening idling time by braking with an electric motor, and increase the rate of braking at the right position when the railroad car is braked.

    본 발명은 호환성을 갖는 전기모터식 모듈형 제동 시스템에 관한 것으로; 철도차량에 설치되어 차량신호장치로부터 제동지령신호가 입력되면 제동신호를 출력하는 제동전자제어장치(EOD)와; 상기 제동전자제어장치(EOD)로부터 상기 제동신호가 입력되면 철도차량의 제동을 위한 공기 압력을 제어할 수 있도록 공압신호를 출력하는 제동작용장치(BOU)와, 상기 제동작용장치의 공압신호가 입력되면 전기적인 제동신호로 변환하여 전기모터 방식으로 제동을 수행하는 모듈형 제동장치로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면 기존 공압식 제동시스템과 호환성을 가지면서 전기모터를 이용한 제동을 통해 공주시간을 단축시켜 제동거리를 줄일 수 있음은 물론 철도차량의 제동시 정위치정차율을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.
