The present invention relates to an electric vehicle charger for high-speed demand response for real-time response to a change and intermittence in a renewable energy-based power system. The electric vehicle charger according to an embodiment can include: a charging unit that charges an electric vehicle by supplying power; a frequency measurement unit that measures the frequency of the power system in real time while charging the electric vehicle; and a power control unit that controls charging power of the electric vehicle in real time based on the measured frequency and control reference.

    신재생 에너지 기반의 전력 계통에서 변동성 및 간헐성에 실시간 대응하기 위한 고속 수요 반응용 전기차 충전기에 관한 것이다. 일 실시예에 따른 전기차 충전기는 전력을 공급하여 전기차를 충전하는 충전부, 전기차의 충전 중 전력계통의 주파수를 실시간 측정하는 주파수 측정부 및 측정된 주파수 및 제어 기준을 기초로 상기 전기차의 충전 전력을 실시간 제어하는 전력 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
