To provide a raising device for self-propelling lifting machine and a raising method of the self-propelling lifting machine capable of simply and easily achieving construction thereof at a relatively small scale.SOLUTION: A raising device 3 for a self-propelling lifting machine comprises: four supporting bodies 31, 31, -; and connection members 32 configured to connect the supporting bodies 31 with each other. The raising device 4 is constructed so that a self-propelling lifting machine 2, with an outrigger 21 being in a projecting state, can be mounted by the other lifting machine from above. The supporting bodies 31 are formed at a position corresponding to a ground surface of the outrigger 21 being in the projecting state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
