To provide an in-pipe traveling device which can realize high traveling performance, can be recovered even in an unexpected situation, can achieve downsizing, weight saving and cost reduction.SOLUTION: An in-pipe traveling device includes: a traveling body 2 capable of traveling in a pipe; a drive body 3 provide at a rear side of the traveling body 2 so as to leave a definite interval; and a rope body 4 connecting the traveling body 2 and the drive body 3. When the rope body 4 is pulled by the drive of the drive body 3, the traveling body 2 is stretched while spreading toward an inner wall surface side of the pipe. When the drive of the drive body 3 stops, the traveling body 2 releases the stretch while being narrowed in a direction apart from the inner wall surface side of the pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】高い走破性を実現することができると共に、不測の事態に陥ったとしても回収可能で、しかも、小型化、軽量化、低コスト化することができる管内走行装置を提供する。【解決手段】配管内を走行可能な走行体2と、走行体2の後側に一定間隔を空けて設けられている駆動体3と、走行体2と駆動体3とを繋ぐ索体4と、を備えている。そして、この駆動体3の駆動によって、索体4が引っ張られると、走行体2が、配管の内壁面側に拡がって突っ張ってなる一方、駆動体3の駆動が停止すると、走行体2が、配管の内壁面側から離れる方向に狭まって突っ張りを解除してなる。【選択図】図1
