To provide a driving battery mounting structure for an electric vehicle that is able to mitigate collision force that may be applied to a casing and a driving battery housed therein, in the event that a side collision occurs.SOLUTION: A driving battery mounting structure 1 for a vehicle 100 includes: a chassis frame 10 constituting a chassis in the vehicle 100; casings 21, 31 housing driving batteries 22, 32 and extending outward in a vehicle width direction from the chassis frame 10; mounting members 40, 50 for mounting the casings 21, 31 on the chassis frame 10; and shock absorbing members 61 to 64 mounted on the chassis frame 10. The mounting members 40, 50 fix the casings 21, 31 on the chassis frame 10 and at least at two positions, front and rear, in a longitudinal direction of the chassis frame 10. The shock absorbing members 61 to 64 are disposed between the mounting members 40, 50 so as to be flush with or protrude outward from the casing 21, 31 in the vehicle width direction of the vehicle 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
