To provide an automatic train operation device capable of suppressing skidding of a train even if an operator is not on board.SOLUTION: An on-train control device 14, as an automatic train operation device for controlling a traveling state of a departing train from a station to a next station according to a travel pattern, includes a travel control part 142, and an acceleration/deceleration detection part 143 for detecting acceleration/deceleration of the train. The travel control part 142 is configured to detect idling of a wheel of the train when the acceleration/deceleration (acceleration) of the train detected by the acceleration/deceleration detection part 143 during acceleration traveling of the train exceeds a threshold for acceleration, and switch the travel pattern used for control of the traveling state of the train from a normal travel pattern to a travel pattern for prevention of skidding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】運転士が乗車しない場合であっても列車の滑走を抑制することのできる自動列車運転装置を提供する。【解決手段】駅を出発してから次駅までの列車の走行状態を走行パターンに従って制御する自動列車運転装置としての車上制御装置14は、走行制御部142と、前記列車の加減速度を検出する加減速度検出部143とを含む。走行制御部142は、前記列車を加速走行させているときに加減速度検出部143によって検出される前記列車の加減速度(加速度)が加速度用閾値を超えると前記列車の車輪の空転を検知し、前記列車の車輪の空転を検知した場合、前記列車の走行状態の制御に用いる走行パターンを通常走行パターンから滑走防止用走行パターンに切り替えるように構成されている。【選択図】図2
