To provide a contact strip which can maintain a maximum temperature of the contact slip increasing by sliding the contact slip with a trolley wire to be almost the same degree of the maximum temperature in the case of using a contact slip composed of a current material, while reducing a copper volume fraction.SOLUTION: A contact slip 1 has: a base 13 which includes a first surface 13a slid with a trolley wire and a second surface 13b opposite to the first surface 13a, and contains carbon as a main component; a plurality of through holes 14 each reaching the first surface 13a and the second surface 13b; and a plurality of columnar conductors 15 which are embedded in each of the plurality of through holes 14 and contain copper as main components. A volume fraction of the columnar conductors 15 which is a ratio of the total sum of the volumes of the plurality of columnar conductors 15 to the total volume of the contact slip 1 is 5% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】すり板がトロリ線と摺動して上昇したすり板の最高温度を、銅の体積分率を低減しつつ、現用材よりなるすり板を用いた場合における最高温度と同程度に維持することができるすり板を提供する。【解決手段】すり板1は、トロリ線と摺動する第1面13aと、第1面13aと反対側の第2面13bと、を含み、且つ、カーボンを主成分として含有する基体13と、第1面13aから第2面13bにそれぞれ達する複数の貫通孔14と、複数の貫通孔14の各々にそれぞれ埋め込まれ、且つ、それぞれ銅を主成分として含有する複数の柱状導体15と、を有する。すり板1の全体積に対する複数の柱状導体15の体積の総和の比である柱状導体15の体積分率は、5%以上である。【選択図】図7
