To increase pressure rise performance of a vehicle behavior stabilization device at low temperature of hydraulic fluid.SOLUTION: A braking device 1 comprises switching valves 24a and 24b. The switching valves 24a and 24b are switched between a first state in which a first hydraulic pressure generation device (15) is communicated with a vehicle behavior stabilization device (26) and a second state in which a second hydraulic pressure generation device (13) is communicated with the vehicle behavior stabilization device. During performing of automatic brake control to supply hydraulic pressure to a friction brake (ST1: Yes, ST2: Yes) regardless of a driver's brake operation, a control device 11 allows the switching valves 24a and 24b to be in the second state (ST7). When a predetermined abnormality occurs to a vehicle V (ST3: Yes), the control device 11 allows the switching valves 24 to be in the first state (ST5). When abnormalities including inability of the second hydraulic pressure generation device to generate hydraulic pressure occurs in the vehicle V (ST4: Yes), the control device 11 allows the switching valves 24a and 24b to be in the second state (ST7).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
