To provide a power supply controller and a power supply control method which can supply power to a load from a sub-power supply while suppressing power loss of the sub-power supply for a period when an ignition switch is turned off.SOLUTION: A power supply controller in accordance with an embodiment comprises a sub-power supply, a first path, a second path and a control part. The sub-power supply has an output voltage lower than an output voltage of a main power supply and can supply power to a load group operating for a period when an ignition switch of a vehicle is turned off. The first path boosts an output voltage of the sub-power supply through a DC/DC converter and supplies power to the load group. The second path supplies the output voltage of the sub-power supply to the load group through the switch. For a period when the ignition switch is turned off, the control part selects the first path when supplying power to a high-voltage load operating with a voltage higher than the output voltage of the sub-power supply among the load group, and selects the second path when supplying power to a low-voltage load operating with the output voltage of the sub-power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】イグニッションスイッチがオフの期間に、副電源の電力損失を抑制しつつ、副電源から負荷に電力を供給することができる電源制御装置および電源制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態に係る電源制御装置は、副電源と、第1経路と、第2経路と、制御部とを備える。副電源は、主電源の出力電圧より低い出力電圧を有し、車両のイグニッションスイッチがオフの期間に作動する負荷群に電力を供給可能である。第1経路は、副電源の出力電圧をDCDCコンバータを介して昇圧して負荷群に電力供給する。第2経路は、副電源の出力電圧をスイッチを介して負荷群に電力供給する。制御部は、イグニッションスイッチがオフの期間に、負荷群のうち副電源の出力電圧より高い電圧で作動する高圧負荷に電力供給する場合は第1経路を選択し、副電源の出力電圧で作動する低圧負荷に電力供給する場合は第2経路を選択する。【選択図】図1
