To accurately detect an occupant's line of sight taking into account the type of object of interest an occupant of a moving vehicle is gazing at.SOLUTION: Provided is a line of sight estimation device that estimates which object of interest among a plurality of objects of interest including an object of interest existing on the structure of a moving vehicle and a target existing in the surrounding of the moving vehicle, the line of sight of an occupant of the moving vehicle is directed to. The line of sight estimation device calculates the value of probability of the occupant visually recognizing each of the plurality of objects of interest, on the basis of the line of sight and a probability distribution that represents the probability of the occupant visually recognizing each of the plurality of objects of interest, and estimates that the occupant is gazing at the object of interest whose value of probability is greater than or equal to a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
