To provide a composite material hollow rotary vane which can be suitably applied to a rotary vane for an urban air mobility (UAM) flying object, meet the requirements of a desired strength and low cost, promote light-weight and energy saving, and improve performance and molding.SOLUTION: This composite material hollow rotary vane made of a thermosetting resin and a reinforced fiber comprises: a vane root part connected to a rotary-driving member side in a vane length direction; a vane tip forming a free end opposite to the vane root part; and a hollow part opened on the vane root part side inside. A vane length is denoted by L, and Si≥So is satisfied, in which Si denotes the inner area of a section of the vane root part, and So denotes the inner area of a section of the vane tip side in an orthogonal section at optional two points within the range of 0.8×L from the vane root part in the vane length direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】UAM用飛行体向けの回転翼に好適に適用でき、望ましい強度、安価なコストの要求に応えることが可能で、軽量化や省エネルギー化を促進可能であり、さらに、性能上や成形上の改善も可能な複合材中空回転翼を提供する。【解決手段】翼長方向に回転駆動部材側に連結される翼根元部とそれとは反対側の自由端を形成する翼先端部を有するとともに、内部に翼根元部側で開口する中空部を有し、熱硬化性樹脂と強化繊維からなる複合材中空回転翼であって、翼長をLとしたとき、翼長方向の、翼根元部から0.8×Lまでの範囲にある任意の2点における直交断面のうち、翼根元部側の断面の内面積をSi、翼先端部側の断面の内面積をSoとしたとき、Si≧Soを満たしていることを特徴とする複合材中空回転翼。【選択図】図2
