To provide a vehicle height adjustment method and vehicle height adjustment system enabling desired power to be received even when a buried distance of power transmission means varies.SOLUTION: A vehicle height adjustment method for a vehicle including power reception means corresponding to power transmission means buried in a road, and vehicle height adjustment means for adjusting a vehicle height from the road, includes: a power transmission-side inverter voltage detection step of detecting a power transmission-side inverter voltage of the power transmission means; a coupling coefficient calculation step of calculating a coupling coefficient between the power transmission means and the power reception means, corresponding to the power transmission-side inverter voltage; and a vehicle height adjustment step of driving the vehicle height adjustment means to obtain a vehicle height corresponding to the coupling coefficient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
