To provide a technique capable of maintaining freshness of information on road surface conditions.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a road surface conditions inspection method for inspecting road surface conditions. The road surface conditions inspection method includes the steps of: acquiring detailed information on the road surface conditions set for each inspection point based on a travel record of a vehicle and information on a self-position of the vehicle; generating an inspection execution plan of the vehicle at the inspection point when the inspection point is included in a predetermined range in a travel direction of the vehicle with the self-position being a reference; evaluating the road surface conditions at the inspection point based on a travel state of the vehicle acquired during the inspection execution plan; and updating detailed information on the road surface conditions set at the inspection point based on the latest information on the evaluated road surface conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
