To provide a swing stop device for a crane capable of attenuating the swing of a suspended load without actively moving the suspended load in a horizontal direction, and a crane.SOLUTION: A swing stop device 100 includes a control unit 90 inputting a command signal to a winch driving unit 81. A reference line CL is a straight line passing through a fulcrum in the swing of a suspended load R and extending in a vertical direction. The control unit 90 controls the winch driving unit 81 such that the downward acceleration is applied to the suspended load R to lower the suspended load R when the swing direction of the suspended load R is a return direction approaching the reference line CL. The control unit controls the winch driving unit 81 such that the upward acceleration is applied to the suspended load R to raise the suspended road R when the swing direction of the suspended load R is a separation direction separating form the reference line CL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】吊り荷を水平方向に積極的に移動させることなく吊り荷の振れを減衰させることが可能なクレーンの振れ止め装置およびクレーンを提供する。【解決手段】振れ止め装置100は、ウインチ駆動部81に指令信号を入力する制御部90を備える。基準線CLは吊り荷Rの振れにおける支点を通り鉛直方向に延びる直線である。制御部90は、吊り荷Rの振れ方向が基準線CLに近づく戻り方向の場合は吊り荷Rに下向きの加速度が加わるようにウインチ駆動部81を制御して前記吊り荷Rを下降させ、吊り荷Rの振れ方向が基準線CLから離れる離隔方向の場合は吊り荷Rに上向きの加速度が加わるようにウインチ駆動部81を制御して吊り荷Rを上昇させる。【選択図】図2
