To provide a train information system which can further reduce a burden on an operator while suppressing the occurrence of an input mistake as much as possible.SOLUTION: A train information system TS includes terminal devices 11-14 which are provided in respective vehicles 11-14 and can communicate with each other, respective terminal devices 21-24 control various instruments 11a-11n provided in the respective vehicles according to vehicle operation data stored in advance. A leading vehicle 11 of a train comprises a display unit 5a for an operator and a two-dimensional symbol reader 6a. A two-dimensional symbol 72 obtained by encoding operation information on the train operation is displayed on an operator itinerary 7 carried by the operator. The two-dimensional symbol reader reads the two-dimensional symbol in the operation start, consequently an initial setting command is generated from the information on the train operation and the vehicle operation data and distributed to the respective terminal devices. The respective terminal devices control the various kinds of instruments according to the initial setting command and the operation state of each instrument is displayed on the display unit for the operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】入力ミスの発生を可及的に抑制しながら運転士の負担を更に軽減することができる列車情報システムを提供する。【解決手段】列車情報システムTSは、各車両11~14に設けられて互いに通信自在な端末装置11~14を有し、各端末装置21~24が、予め記憶されている車両運用データに応じて各車両に設けられる各種の機器11a~11nを制御する。列車の先頭車両11に、運転士用表示器5aと二次元シンボルリーダー6aとを備え、運転士が携行する運転士行程表7に、列車運行に関する運行情報をコード化した二次元シンボル72が表示される。運転開始時に、二次元シンボルリーダーにより二次元シンボルを読み取らせると、列車運行に関する情報と車両運用データとから初期設定指令が生成されて各端末装置に配信され、各端末装置は、初期設定指令に応じて各種の機器を制御すると共に、各機器の動作状態を運転士用表示器に表示する。【選択図】図1
