To reduce a risk of contacting and collision by a following vehicle, by taking a position of the following vehicle into consideration at the time of executing risk minimization control.SOLUTION: A vehicle travelling control device has a function of executing in-lane automatic travelling, while maintaining a set vehicle speed if there is no precedent vehicle on a travelling lane of an own vehicle and while maintaining a set inter-vehicle distance if there is a precedent vehicle, and an MRM function of executing risk minimization control including control of decelerating and stopping the own vehicle on the travelling lane, if a system failure occurs during execution of the inter-lane automatic travelling function or if operation is not turned over to a driver when the system failure occurs, which determines a direction of corrective steering on the basis of a position in a lateral direction of the following vehicle on the travelling lane of the own vehicle, during execution of the MRM function, and executes the corrective steering during deceleration of the own vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】 リスク最小化制御の作動時に後方車両の位置を考慮することで、後方車両による接触や衝突のリスクを低減する。【解決手段】 自車線に先行車両が存在しない場合は設定車速を維持し、先行車両が存在する場合は設定車間距離を維持して車線内自動走行を行う機能と、前記車線内自動走行機能の作動中にシステム障害が発生した場合、または、システム障害発生時に運転者に操作引継されない場合に、車両を車線内で減速して停止させることを含むリスク最小化制御を実行するMRM機能とを有する車両の走行制御装置において、前記MRM機能の作動時に、自車線内の後方車両の横方向位置に基づいて修正操舵の方向を決定し、減速中に修正操舵を実行する。【選択図】図8
