To provide a vehicle travelling support device that can prevent occurrence of a situation that an own vehicle gets too close to a precedent vehicle and occurrence of a situation that a speed of the own vehicle becomes unstable, in a period of time during the own vehicle is following the precedent vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle travelling support device 3 comprises: an information obtaining part 11 that obtains, from a first vehicle detection sensor 1, information about an inter-vehicle distance between an own vehicle and a precedent vehicle and information about a relative speed of the precedent vehicle with respect to the own vehicle, and obtains, from a speed sensor 2, information about a speed of the own vehicle, which calculates a target inter-vehicle distance and further comprises a plan generating part 12 that generates a distance plan showing change with time of the inter-vehicle distance, a speed plan showing change with time of the speed of the own vehicle, and an acceleration plan showing change with time of acceleration of the own vehicle. The vehicle travelling support device further comprises a vehicle control part 13 that calculates an acceleration control signal of the own vehicle, using the distance information, the distance plan, the information about the speed of the own vehicle and the speed plan, and a command integrating part 14 that generates an acceleration command of the own vehicle, using the acceleration control signal and the acceleration plan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】自車両が先行車両を追従している期間中、自車両が先行車両に近づき過ぎる状況の発生及び自車両の速度がふらついてしまう状況の発生を防止する車両走行支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両走行支援装置3は、第1の車両検出センサ1から、自車両と先行車両との車間距離情報及び自車両に対する先行車両の相対速度情報を取得し、速度センサ2から、自車速情報を取得する情報取得部11を備え、目標車間距離を算出し、車間距離の時間変化を示す距離計画と、自車両の速度の時間変化を示す速度計画と、自車両の加速度の時間変化を示す加速度計画とを生成する計画生成部12を備える。車両走行支援装置は、距離情報と距離計画と自車速情報と速度計画とを用いて、自車両の加速度制御信号を算出する車両制御部13と、加速度制御信号と加速度計画とを用いて、自車両の加速度指令を生成する指令統合部14とを備えている。【選択図】図2
