PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelling support device for a vehicle that can suppress a deviation between vehicle deceleration and required deceleration when generating a difference in braking force between a left wheel and a right wheel to make the vehicle to perform yawing motion.SOLUTION: The travelling support device for a vehicle allocates a half of a target yawing moment MRq to an inner wheel and allocates the other half to an outer wheel (a step S64); makes increased amounts BPI of braking force of the inner wheel larger as the target yawing moment MRq allocated to the inner wheel is larger and makes decreased amounts BPO of braking force of the outer wheel larger as the target yawing moment MRq allocated to the outer wheel is larger (a step S65); and increases the braking force of the inner wheel according to the increased amounts BPI of the braking force of the inner wheel, and decreases the braking force of the outer wheel according to the decreased amounts BPO of the braking force of the outer wheel (a step S66).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】左輪と右輪との間に制動力差を発生させて車両にヨーイング運動を行わせるに際し、車両減速度と要求減速度とのずれを抑えることができる車両の走行支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両の走行支援装置は、目標ヨーイングモーメントMRqのうち半分を内側輪に配分し、残りを外側輪に配分し(ステップS64)、内側輪に配分された目標ヨーイングモーメントMRqが大きいほど内側輪の制動力の増大量BPIを多くし、外側輪に配分された目標ヨーイングモーメントMRqが大きいほど同外側輪の制動力の減少量BPOを大きくし(ステップS65)、内側輪の制動力の増大量BPIに応じて内側輪の制動力を増大させ、外側輪の制動力の減少量BPOに応じて外側輪の制動力を減少させる(ステップS66)。【選択図】図8
