To provide an electromechanical brake booster which secures strength with a minimum number of components and avoids restrictions on the design and increase in the size of the device itself.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an electromechanical brake booster 1 and has: a casing 10 including a cylindrical cover 11 and a doughnut-shaped bottom plate 12; and multiple support pillars 100 disposed between the cover 11 and the bottom plate 12. A bracket 90 is held by the support pillars 100 in a manner that the bracket 90 cannot rotate around an axis and can move in an axial direction.
