To provide a control method of a ship, a ship control program, a ship control system, and a ship, which can reduce a load applied to a clutch when switching a propulsion mode.SOLUTION: A ship is equipped with a plurality of power sources 31, 32 including a first power source 31 (engine) and a second power source 32 (motor), and among the plurality of power sources 31, 32, the power source 31, 32 used for propelling a hull has a plurality of different propulsion modes. In the ship, a first clutch 331 (clutch) is provided between the engine and an output unit 4 which outputs propulsive force for the hull. A control method of the ship comprises: synchronizing a rotation speed of the engine with a rotation speed of the motor before switching the clutch from a disengaged state to a transmission state when switching from a motor propulsion mode to a hybrid propulsion mode; and controlling torque of the motor in a torque control period after synchronizing the rotation speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
