To provide a shock absorber capable of suppressing the generation of noise.SOLUTION: A shock absorber is equipped with blocking members 28 and 41 that block an opening portion 24 of a cylinder 17, a cylinder member 29 that is attached to the blocking member 28, projects out from an end portion of the blocking member 28, and is disposed in the cylinder 17, a stopper member 78 in which a piston rod 51 is inserted and which is formed so as to expand in an outer diametrical direction of the piston rod 51, a first elastic member 81 disposed in the cylinder member 29, a second elastic member 82 disposed on the blocking member 28 side of the stopper member 78, and a third elastic member 83 that is provided between the first elastic member 81 and the second elastic member 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
