To improve reliability of a rotary transmission device capable of switching between transmission and interruption of rotation by controlling the position of an engaging member between a first rotating body and a second rotating body with an axial movement of an inclined surface of an armature depending on the energization state of an electromagnet.SOLUTION: A plurality of slits 35 axially penetrating a rotor 8 is formed at a plurality of locations in a circumferential direction on the side surface of the rotor 8 on an armature 7 side. A non-magnetic material 32 is interposed between a first rotating body 2 and the rotor 8. A case 13 is made of a non-magnetic material. In a shaft 19 of a second rotating body 3, a diameter D1 of a sealing surface 41 in contact with a seal 40 is made smaller than a diameter D2 of a fitting surface 42 with a bearing 11. Buffer members 43, 45 for absorbing impact are provided between the armature 7 and mating members 8, 15 that stop the axial movement of the armature 7. The first rotating body 2 is formed by connecting a shaft member 14 and a torque transmission member 15 including a plurality of engagement surfaces 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電磁石の通電状態に応じたアーマチュアの斜面の軸方向移動により第一の回転体及び第二の回転体間の係合部材の位置を制御して回転伝達と遮断を切り替え可能な回転伝達装置の信頼性を向上させる。【解決手段】ロータ8のアーマチュア7側の側面において、周方向の複数個所にロータ8を軸方向に貫通する複数のスリット35を形成する。第一の回転体2とロータ8との間に非磁性体32が介在する。ケース13を非磁性体製にする。第二の回転体3の軸19のうち、シール40と接触する密封面41の直径D1を軸受11との嵌め合い面42の直径D2よりも小径に設ける。アーマチュア7と、アーマチュア7の軸方向移動を停止させる相手部材8,15との間に衝撃を吸収する緩衝部材43,45を備える。軸部材14と、複数の係合面16を含むトルク伝達部材15とを接続した第一の回転体2とする。【選択図】図1
