To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material frame that suppresses the generation of buckling and improves bending strength while reducing manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced composite material frame 1 comprises: a compression surface part 2 where a compression stress is generated along a longitudinal direction DL when a bending load to bend the frame 1 in a short direction DS orthogonal to the longitudinal direction DL of the frame 1 is inputted to the frame 1; a side surface part 3 extending in the short direction DS from a corner part 5 adjacent to the compression surface part 2; and a tensile surface part 4 where a tensile stress is generated along the longitudinal direction DL when it is extended in the longitudinal direction DL at a position separated from the compression surface part 2 and the bending load is inputted to the frame 1. An area of the corner part 5 adjacent to the compression surface part 2 comprises a high toughness fiber-reinforced composite material 21 whose toughness value concerning a shear direction between resin layers is higher than a low toughness fiber-reinforced composite material 22 constituting an area of the tensile surface part 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】製造コストを低減しながら座屈の発生を抑制して曲げ強度を向上した繊維強化複合材製フレームを提供する。【解決手段】繊維強化複合材製フレーム1は、フレーム1の長手方向DLに直交する短手方向DSに向けてフレーム1を曲げる曲げ荷重が当該フレーム1に入力されたときに長手方向DLに沿って圧縮応力が生じる圧縮面部2と、圧縮面部2に隣接する角部5から短手方向DSに延びる側面部3と、圧縮面部2から離間した位置で長手方向DLに延び、曲げ荷重がフレーム1に入力されたときに長手方向DLに沿って引張応力が生じる引張面部4とを備える。圧縮面部2に隣接する角部5の領域は、引張面部4の領域を構成する低靭性繊維強化複合材22よりも樹脂層間におけるせん断方向に関する靱性値が高い高靭性繊維強化複合材21を備えている。【選択図】図5
