To provide a technique that can provide an operational feeling and ride comfort which are suitable for a driver in an automobile.SOLUTION: An ECU (1) makes an operation causing-state quantity estimating part (100) estimate an operation causing-state quantity due to operation of a vehicle; makes a road surface causing-state quantity estimating part (200) estimate a road surface causing-state quantity due to a road surface; makes an operation causing-state quantity converting part (300) convert the operation causing-state quantity to operation causing-required damping force; makes a road surface causing-state quantity converting part (400) convert the road surface causing-state quantity to road surface causing-required damping force; and makes a current value calculating part (500) determine current values which are applied to a suspension device using the values of the quantities and controls the suspension device of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
