To provide a portable terminal position estimation method, a portable terminal position estimation device and a portable terminal position estimation system, with which it is possible to reduce a computation load by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A method includes: an acquisition step in which a plurality of communication instruments communicate with a portable terminal and acquires distance information between the communication instruments and the portable terminal and the intensity information of a radio wave; a communication allowability determination step in which it is determined that communication is allowed when the distance information is smaller than or equal to a first prescribed value and the intensity information is greater than or equal to a second prescribed value; an area determination step in which, on the basis of the determination result of the communication allowability determination step and a communication map in which the communicable ranges of respective communication instruments are mapped, a plurality of communication maps are superimposed one on top of another and an area where a portable terminal exists is determined; and an estimation step in which the position of the portable terminal is estimated on the basis of the determination result of the area determination step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
