To provide a rail displacement preventing device capable of preventing a longitudinal displacement and being easily manufactured while avoiding fatigue strength deterioration and delayed crack generation of a rail.SOLUTION: The rail displacement preventing device comprises: shear plates 310 fixed to a flat surface on which a base flange 510 of a transverse rail 500 is fixed at required intervals in a longitudinal direction of the transverse rail 500; and a block 530 fastened to the side of a web 520 of the transverse rail 500 so as to be arranged between the shear plates 310 and itself and constrained to move in the longitudinal direction of the transverse rail 500.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
