To provide a vehicle body of a truck that can secure rigidity that is required in a torsion mode of a vehicle body and suppress a rope for fixing a cargo from loosening.SOLUTION: A vehicle body 1 of a truck is equipped with a rear deck 13 which includes at least a floor panel 131, a pair of side panels 133 and 134, a bolster 138 extending in a width direction of the vehicle body along a side part of a rear end of the floor panel and a tail gate 135. Strut members 137 extended in a vertical direction z of the vehicle body and joined to the side panels and the bolster are provided at a left end part and a right end part respectively of the bolster, which are rear end parts of the side panels. The strut members include strut upper parts 137a extending from the bolster to an upper side of the vehicle body and strut lower parts 137c extending from the bolster to a lower side of the vehicle body. A horizontal cross section of one of the strut upper part and the strut lower part is formed into a non-bag shape cross section structure in which outside in the width direction of the vehicle body is opened, and a horizontal cross section of the other of the strut upper part and the strut lower part is formed into a non-bag shape cross section structure in which inside in the width direction of the vehicle body is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
