To provide a position grasping system capable of improving an accuracy of determining that a vehicle has approached an intersection regardless of which transport path the vehicle passes to approach the intersection.SOLUTION: A position grasping system 1 is a system in which beacons 81 and 82 are installed outside a road near a transport path accompanied by an intersection through which a vehicle 10 passes. The position grasping system is comprised of: a first beacon 81 installed outside the road near transport paths A and B at an intersection S where a plurality of transport paths specified in advance intersect with each other; a second beacon 82 installed outside the road near transport paths C and D on the opposite side of the transport path intersection S with respect to the first beacon 81; and an on-vehicle unit 15 installed on the vehicle 10 and acquiring field strengths of electromagnetic waves from the first beacon 81 and the second beacon 82. The on-board unit 15 comprises a calculation determination unit 62 which calculates a total value of the field strengths of electromagnetic waves received from the first beacon 81 and the second beacon 82, and determines that the vehicle 10 has approached the intersection S when the total value is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両がどの搬送路を通って交差箇所に接近しても、車両が交差箇所に接近したことの判断精度を高めることができる位置把握システムを提供する。【解決手段】位置把握システム1は、車両10が通過する、交差を伴う搬送路の近傍の路外にビーコン81,82を設置したシステムであって、予め特定された複数の搬送路同士が交差する交差箇所Sの搬送路A,Bの近傍の路外に設置された第1のビーコン81と、第1のビーコン81に対して搬送路の交差箇所Sを挟む反対側の搬送路C,Dの近傍の路外に設置された第2のビーコン82と、車両10に設置され、第1のビーコン81及び第2のビーコン82からの電波強度を取得する車載器15と、を備え、車載器15は、第1のビーコン81及び第2のビーコン82から受信した電波強度の合計値を算出し、合計値が所定値以上である場合に、車両10が交差箇所Sに接近したと判断する算出判断部62を備える。【選択図】図1
