To achieve technique which is capable of estimating ground load in a vehicle at sufficiently high precision.SOLUTION: A ground load estimation apparatus acquires wheel angular velocity, stationary load and inertia load of a vehicle and calculates a first gain by using the stationary load and the inertia load and estimates road surface load by using the first gain, prescribed vehicle specification and a second gain expressing hysteresis characteristic of a tire provided to the vehicle, and estimates ground load of the vehicle by referring the road surface load.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】十分に高い精度で車両における接地荷重を推定可能な技術を実現する。【解決手段】本発明に係る接地荷重推定装置は、車両の車輪角速度、定常荷重および慣性荷重を取得し、定常荷重および慣性荷重を用いて第一ゲインを演算し、第一ゲイン、所定の車両諸元、および、車両が備えるタイヤのヒステリシス特性を表す第二ゲインを用いて路面荷重を推定し、当該路面荷重を参照して車両の接地荷重を推定する。【選択図】なし
