To provide a vehicle collision energy absorption part that improves an effect of absorbing a collision energy at axial collapse, and ensures water resistance.SOLUTION: A vehicle collision energy absorption part 1 according to the present invention serves to absorb a collision energy by axially collapsing when a collision load is input from the front side or the rear side of a vehicle body, and includes: a cylindrical member 3 including a ceiling portion 5a and a pair of vertical wall portions 5c continuous from the ceiling portion 5a via corner portions 5b; a closed cross-sectional space forming wall member 9 disposed on the inner surface of the cylindrical member 3 to at least form a closed cross-sectional space between the corner portions 5b and itself; and a resin 11 disposed in the closed cross-sectional space. The resin 11 includes rubber modified epoxy resin and hardening agent and is superior in water resistance without causing interfacial peeling at tensile braking elongation of 2% or more and below 80%. The resin has adhesive strength of 12 MPa or more with respect to the cylindrical member 3 and the closed cross-sectional space forming member 9, and compressive nominal stress of 6 MPa or more at compressive nominal strain of 10%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】軸圧壊する際における衝突エネルギーの吸収効果を向上し、かつ耐水性を確保した自動車用衝突エネルギー吸収部品を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る自動車用衝突エネルギー吸収部品1は、車体の前方又は後方から衝突荷重が入力した際に軸圧壊して衝突エネルギーを吸収するものであって、天板部5aと天板部5aからコーナー部5bを介して連続する一対の縦壁部5cとを有する筒状部材3と、筒状部材3の内面側に配設されて少なくともコーナー部5bとの間に閉断面空間を形成する閉断面空間形成壁部材9と、閉断面空間に設けられた樹脂11と、を備え、樹脂11は、ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂と硬化剤とを含んでなり、引張破断伸びが2%以上80%未満で界面剥離を生じることなく耐水性に優れ、筒状部材3及び閉断面空間形成壁部材9との接着強度が12MPa以上、圧縮公称歪10%における圧縮公称応力が6MPa以上、である。【選択図】 図1
